Volunteer Program
The GA Tax Clinic provides free tax law services to low-income individuals and families and conduct educational outreach activities to inform taxpayers about their rights and responsibilities.
Our work can make a world of difference in the lives of our community members in need, but we may not always have the capacity to fully meet the needs of all prospective clients on our own.
Make A Difference With Us
The North Georgia LITC welcomes volunteer assistance from anyone interested in helping low-income taxpayers move towards financial stability, including law firms and lawyers, CPAs, and other professionals.
Volunteers can supplement our work in critical ways:
Legal Representation: Providing direct tax assistance to low-income clients
Community & Education Outreach: Partner with us in conducting outreach efforts to inform community members about tax topics
Supporting Role Volunteers: Supporting us with translating marketing materials, grant writing, social media management, and other fundraising and marketing initiatives
Join us! Help us provide financial stability to people in need.
We will provide all necessary training and supervision, as well as malpractice insurance, for our pro bono volunteers.
